Dororo & Yakusoku No Neverland

I was busy for this past few weeks. I just sat for my final exams and after that, I went for my company annual course. I missed writing. I haven't read any new manga lately BUT I have two not so new ANIME recommendations for you guys. The first anime is Dororo. I watch it recently from youtube but you guys can try to watch it from kissanime. I will include the link.

Dororo revolves around a rōnin named Hyakkimaru (百鬼丸) and young orphan thief named Dororo (どろろ) during the Sengoku period. The rōnin was born malformed, limbless and without facial features or internal organs. This was the result of his birth father daimyō Kagemitsu Daigō forging a pact with 48 sealed demons (12 in the anime) so that he might rule the land and increase its wealth and prosperity. In return, he promised the demons anything that they wanted which belonged to him. This enabled them to roam free and commit atrocities along the countryside. Credit by wikipedia.
Originally written by Sensei Osamu Tezuka, who wrote the manga in the 1960s'. The anime took a similar plot as Tezuka sensei but only up to a certain angle. I fully recommend all of you to watch this anime. 

The second anime that I would like to recommend is Yakkusoku No Neverland.

Set in the year 2045, Emma is an 11-year-old orphan living in Grace Field House, a small orphanage housing her and her 37 siblings. Life had never been better; with food that tasted gourmet, plush beds, snow-white uniforms, and the love of their "Mother" (the caretaker) Isabella, as well the litany of daily exams that Emma always aced with her two best friends Ray and Norman. The orphans are basically allowed to do whatever they want, except venture out of the compounds or the gate that connects the house to the outside world. I will stop here because the more I divulge into the plot it will lose all the sense of fun in it.

So, guys, these are the two anime that I recommend for the year 2019. Check it out and let me know if you find it as exciting as I did. Or if you have any recommendations of anime or manga do let me know as well. Till then.

Aoyama Tsukiko Desu! By Yuki Nojin

I need to write about this manga before I forget about it. This manga is literally translated by my rough Japanese "I am Aoyama Tsukiko". Why is this manga a must read you ask? I am gushing to share.

"Aoyoma Tsukiko has always been misunderstood due to her expressionless face. Having to repeat first year of high school again due to her usual bad luck, she strives to have a happy and cheerful high school life. Then meets her classmate who is a deliberate loner. However, due to her nature, she aims to befriend him, much to his annoyance. Can a friendship grow between a poker face, cheerful girl and the loner? Can she break through his walls?"-as quoted by fanfox.

In actual this girl is born as Aoyama Tsukiko but because she got into an accident the year before, she has no recollection of her past memories...jeng jeng jeng....hooked yet? I don't want to write more it will turn into a spoiler but do read it. 

This manga is by Yuki Nojin sensei. She has written another two manga as well.

Kore wa Ai ja Nai no de, Yoroshiku

DaYs By tSuYoShI yAsUdA sEnSeI

Greetings friends, I will be honest with you guys. I am supposed to study for my exams its on the 18/4 and 21/4 btw....but I got sick and I was not in the mood for studying so you know what I did? I went binge on manga's reading. 

so today what I want to share is a manga called Days by Tsuyoshi Yasuda Sensei.

what a brilliant manga this is..it is still on going btw. 
The protagonist here is Tsukushi Tsukamoto. He is weak, meek, he has all the characteristic that I usually dislike in a manga BUT. I love Tsukushi. I admit that I also did teared up a bit.
Yasuda Sensei wrote it beautifully here.

I have read comments that some people dislike that the story build up is quite slow but I did not hate it because I felt Tsukushi needs room to grow his character. Okay I know I forgot to mention what this manga is all about. 

"Weak, clumsy, and shy, Tsukushi Tsukamoto is a prime target for bullies. Though he suffers through their torment, it leads to a fateful encounter with fellow Seiseki High School student Jin Kazama, a genius soccer player of the same age. After saving Tsukamoto from the bullies, Kazama invites him to a match since his team is one man short.

Although he struggles to keep up with the more experienced players, Tsukamoto is passionate and persistent, inspiring the team and Kazama. With a new passion awakened, he decides to join Kazama in the school's soccer club. Little does he know, the Seiseki team is renowned nationwide, and a terrible player like him might not even pass the selection process, let alone play in the first team! Even so, Tsukamoto forces his way into Seiseki with the only thing he is good at—running straight ahead!" -as quoted by Mangarock.

I love the relationship Tsukushi have with his mother it made me cried. I think I mention this before, perhaps in Japan to find those who can draw manga is humungous but to have a good storyline is another matter. This manga made me want to read more of it. 

The manga is now at chapter 173 and do I want to read it more. Thank you to all the translators, scanlators and editors who took the trouble to let me read this.

I am here to share with my fellow otakus about a not so new manga that I have fallen in love with recently. Now this manga is not yet completed. Currently stopping at chapter 132.

Okay why I fall in love with this manga?

This guy is just so gorgeous, why 2D male protagonist are so hot I have no idea
Anyways I will give a snippets of this manga;

17-year-old Iguchi Tatsuya has just been released from juvenile detention and is on probation. He's been relocated to a new area, away from the bad influence of his old friends, and is under the care of his aunt. He is determined not to be sent back to lockup, and he works hard in his aunt's restaurant. However, he still has the same personality, the same tendency to violence, and still falls in with the same sort of people. It's going to be difficult for him to stay out of trouble (Excerpts from mangarock)

Okay now I will explain what is the real reason I am hook.
For those of you who may notices that my previous post is mostly about romance manga, though I am a sucker for them but I also have times that I want some kick as* action for my manga. Partly the reason I am drawn to female protagonist who is good at martial arts. That was why I was inlove with Kure Para you may see it in my previous post.

So Makoto Sensei did mention in his/her manga that this Iguchi Tatsuya is based on a true story!
IKR! I mean how cool is that. So Tatsuya who is a delinquent and serve his sentence from juvie is now a free man. So now he is told to leave his hometown move to another place where nobody knows him. That was how he stays in Chiba with his aunt(maternal) with her husband that runs a yakiniku shop. If you thought Tat-Chan is unstoppable wait till you see the rest of the characters.

I roped in my brother to read this manga and now he blames me because the manga is still incomplete. You definitely cant put it down. Believe me. Oh and ladies just assuming you who are reading this are ladies, this manga art is amazing and it is also gore. So read it at your own risk. I would put a disclaimer if I could. The language is already bad enough that I don’t have to explain it. I mean come on, its a delinquent manga. But the art is so good at its best even if its gore. So if you can’t stomach it this may not be the manga for you. I will post another manga tomorrow. I find it quite awesome as well. If any of you happen to read it please share with me your thoughts. Can I Accept Your Proposal All Those Years Ago

How is everyone all over the world? It has been ages since I last wrote in here. So many things happen, I took my Master this year, among other things.

I visited Japan last year in May with my mom. Yeah just the two of us. Finally. Japan was a blast it certainly will not be the last, not if I can help it. Mom enjoyed the trip as well.

I took a master in English Studies, so I feel like I must do a lot of writing to make myself train. 

So today we are going to talk about manga but I feel like its a webtoon style but it is jammed all in one.
okay but you need to know that this manga is only just 3 chapter. Yes, I know it is frustrating...

But you need to know that I LOVED this plot. so to anyone who is like me...like if you are a sucker for

• next door neighbor
• childhood friends

Yui adores Ikkun her whole life but Ikkun's type of girl is Yui mom..btw Ikkun is popular...yeah you see where this manga is going

so when Yui proposes to Ikkun when she was in primary school Ikkun said he wants a girl who is ladylike, elegant, etc...

fast-forward to the future:

Ikkun is now a teacher but where??

Yep...you guessed it right. He is teaching at Yui's school.

BUT the twist of fate you call it..now Ikkun is no more Mr. popular just a school teacher but Yui grows up to be a beauty and a lady...

this is where Ikkun gets 'badump'..'badump'

So guys I have a feeling this is going to be a sweet manga...just a feeling
